Ford Recalls Vehicles Over Power Steering Concerns

According to Motor Trend, Ford has recalled more than 400,000 sedan and crossover vehicles in the U.S. over concerns about power steering complications.  The news outlet reported that the recall involves certain Mercury Milan models, as well as 2011-2012 Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ models, and 2011-2013 Ford Taurus, Flex and Lincoln MKS and MKT vehicles. Keep in mind, if you have concerns that your vehicle may be involved in a recall, you can visit safercar.gov, where you can do a search based on a model’s VIN. Motor Trend reported that the recall involves issues with an electrical connection in the steering linkage. The issue could lead to the loss of electric power steering while someone is using a vehicle, which could make turning very hard as the vehicle switches to a manual steering mode.
