Injured Baby Found in Atlantic City Casino

On Memorial Day, police were called to Bally’s Atlantic City when a baby was found. The 2-month-old was suffering from respiratory distress, and had to be airlifted to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The child was listed as being in critical condition, and there is no word on its current condition. Police are investigating the circumstances along with the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office and the state’s Division of Protection and Permanency. The identities of the child and parents have not been released, and no arrests have been made. This unusual incident is still under investigation, and we are all hoping for the baby’s speedy recovery, but the event does raise questions about child safety in casinos.
