The Atlantic City Personal Injury Law Firm of Targan & Pender, P.C.

Our Atlantic City accident lawyers are here to help you and your family

Your case is important. If it involves a claim of negligent, reckless or intentional conduct which has caused death or permanent injury, a Certified Civil Trial Attorney, with experience handling similar cases, should be chosen to personally handle your matter. Many of our cases are referred to us by other attorneys who seek our expertise for their clients.

The types of New Jersey personal injury cases we handle include medical malpractice, auto, truck and bus accidents, jitney accidents, casino negligence, including casino bus accidents, defective products, construction accidents, straddle crane accidents, and, unsafe premises. These cases have involved death, brain injury, burns, and other permanent damage.

At the Atlantic City personal injury Law Firm of Targan & Pender, P.C., both partners are New Jersey accident lawyers that are also Certified Civil Trial Attorneys who work on each case together from intake to trial. The NJ firm has obtained impressive results on behalf of its clients. We have received the highest rating for ethical standards and legal ability. (Martindale-Hubbell AV® peer review rating). New Jersey Monthly Magazine's annual polling of other attorneys has also consistently ranked the firm as among the Top ("Super Lawyers") in the state for medical malpractice and personal injury claims.

Less than two percent of New Jersey attorneys are Certified by the Supreme Court as Civil Trial Attorneys. The Supreme Court established attorney certification in 1980 for the purpose of helping consumers find attorneys who have recognized competence in particular fields of law in an effort "to protect consumers from false advertising and to raise the level of competence of attorneys in this State." Our Atlantic City negligence lawyers are certified.

Attorneys may be designated by the Supreme Court as "certified attorneys" only if they: are able to demonstrate sufficient levels of experience, education, knowledge and skill in a specific area of law or practice; have passed a rigorous examination; and have been recognized by their peers and Judges as having skill and reputation in the designated specialty. For more information on the requirements, please go to the Board of Attorney Certification website.
